Read Our Story to learn more about how this magazine was born, and Our Values to see if you believe this is the perfect place for you (we already know it is)!

Our Story

The Elysian Chronicles was established in March 2023 by a young writer based in North America (Kallie E. Sage, @thetalethatneverends on Instagram). She noticed a discrepancy within a lot of the publishing opportunities present, in which writers were being rejected left and right without proper feedback.

That's when this magazine was created. It's built on the hopes that every writer gets the feedback or comments they need to improve their craft, and are able to be encouraged to pursue their dreams.

The logo seen on the right is our very first logo! Since then, we have gone through a rebrand to better fit our style and vision.

What We Value

Read below to learn more about what we look for in each of the pieces submitted.

The logo seen on the right is our current logo! We believe it truly encompasses the style of The Elysian Chronicles and is the correct rendition of our magazine.

01

Inclusivity

Your ethnicity, cultural and/or religious beliefs, sexuality, gender, or any other identity factors do not place a role in whether or not your work is considered for publication.

02

Transparency

If you've submitted your work to us, you will receive in-depth feedback from one of our editors. We believe transparency is incredibly important.

03

Cultivating Art

Writing is a form of art and it is crucial to us that we are able to encourage this art to flourish. Art is what makes life worth living, and we motivate artists to continue their work.
