When you see the glass of pearly fate,

Just know to run before it’s too late,

Run and change your destiny,

Run wild and set yourself free,

Run not for yourself,

But do it for me

That baby soft skin has turned to smile lines,

Those soft doe eyes keeping screaming “I’m fine”

When really they’re not, please take it from me,

You lie and say this future is what you need,

But really it’s lies to my eyes that you feed,

I know this is short but please bide your time,

You would never listen to me lest I make it a rhyme,

Because you’re only a child and that much is true,

You’re only a child, so take this time out for you.
