TITLE: August is Over

AUTHOR: Aditi Shashidhara

A sinking feeling in your stomach. Being

unable to properly concentrate on summery

goodness. The all-encompassing,

unshakable fear that the golden days of

summer are over.

That, my friends,

is the start of August.

Soon to be followed by the first day

of school, which leads to

vexations about friends, grades, teachers, homework. You get so caught up in the

excitement and tension and anticipation that August disappears before you

realize it even happened.
