TRIGGER/CONTENT WARNINGS: THEMES OF DEPRESSION AND SUGGESTIONS OF SUICIDE

breathe in.

a heavy fog settles in the back of my mind, silent and dense. the echoes of laughter surrounding me fade.

breathe out.

each morning is a blank canvas, but the colours are muffled, the brushstrokes hesitant. vibrancy is not in my cards.

breathe in.

in moments of quiet, my mind is a restless sea. waves crash with memories, each a reminder of what once was, or what I could be.

I am drowning.

breathe out.

there is comfort in the ache, a strange kind of solitude in the struggle, where words are insufficient and understanding seems distant.

maybe I should stop struggling,

and let the sea embrace me.

breathe in…

and don’t breathe out.
