TITLE: Dear Mother Nature

AUTHOR: K.A. Vandlyn

ARTIST: Nivi

Oh, dear Mother nature, where have you gone?

Your land begs for water to soothe its thirst,

While your oceans drink more than they can bear,

And poison falls on the sick and the cursed.

Oh, dear Mother nature, where have you gone?

Stars shine no more in your empty gray sky.

Birds roam your earth, waiting for their last dawn.

And fish flopping out, on your sand they cry.

Oh, dear Mother nature, where have you gone?

I see you watching away from the smoke,

And see you in the cracks of humans’ wrongs,

Shaking your head as your earth cries and chokes.

You watch us manufacturing our doom,

Waiting for the end, to let new life bloom.
