A spider is an odd sort of creature.

It has eight legs 

And eight eyes

And is no wider than the width of my thumb.

So small, but the second someone notices it,

It takes up the entire room.

You would think this attention is made of  love.

But it is hated,

And killed.

I do not have eight legs,

Or eight eyes,

Yet I am a spider.

Small

And

Hated.
